Preheat broiler to "High" setting
To broil apples: Quarter the apples and cut out the cores.
Place on a baking pan or sheet pn.
Place under the broiler for 4-5 minutes.
Stir and broil another 4-5 minutes.
Continue until apples are well-charred all over.
